What Size/Resolution Of A Picture Work Best For Printing Photo Posters?
In poster printing there is one thing that people have a hard time getting to remember. A very important aspect in making posters would be the pixels involved. The more pixels you have in a square inch the more awesome would be the poster would be. Now if you want to make a picture that would be as real as the one you took with your high definition camera, that would be as good as posters you want to make it into, you need those maximum pixels you can put in per square inch. Most people forget to think about the consequences behind getting a good poster out of a photo.
In the world of photo posters you need to make sure that you would get the most out of each pixel you take from your photo. The logic behind this thought is simple as A B C. The more pixels you have in your photo the more it would look great as you buff it up and make it into a poster. A good example for this would be billboards. When you see a billboard in your car a few hundred feet away from you, you would notice how the details are very clear and crisp. That detailed poster would not be there if you don’t even have the needed pixels to create such beautiful posters.
Even custom posters have the same predicament. The point is if you would follow the formula of having more pixels per square inch of your photo would be great if you would make it into a poster. You must remember that distance and size plays also a big role in making posters. If you have a photo that has the most concentration of pixels per square inch then that would be a great poster if you would bring that up to at least 36×48 inches. From the original size of let’s say 5×6 photo, now that would be a lot of pixels needed to bring up the same quality the photo would have.
But with a high definition camera used in getting that picture you would have no problems making a poster look good. The first thing that your poster making company would ask you is your photo. They would then gauge your photo for the pixels involved in it. Now they would say the same thing as I mentioned earlier. You would need more pixels if you wish to make a big poster out of your picture if you just have mediocre pixels per square inch. High definition pictures would have no problems with this for pictures when taken in high definition has about gazillion pixels in it you would have no problem making posters from your previous pictorials. When you think of poster printing the one thing you don't want to forget is the pixels.
